Tara McPherson

The Silent Hero
Oil on Linen
24" x 20"
2009

Tara McPherson is one of my favorite contemporary Illustrators/Artists. I really love her style of painting. And what I really love about her work is that its mostly produced using traditional methods. The characters in her paintings/Illustrations have both an Inocent and dark look to them. Here are some examples of her work.
